Getting To Know Team Member, Anna!

Hi there friends and supporters!  Each week or so I will be posting a short bio on one of our 10 team members to give you a chance to connect, place a face to the name, and know exactly who it is your are journeying with!

This week the spotlight is on our very own, Anna!  Please read a little about her and encourage her on her journey!

"Hi! My name is Anna and I am so blessed to say that this will be my second trip to East Asia. Last year I was called to this Global X because I love working with children and I know how to write curriculum. I have been teaching elementary school in Johns Creek for five years and I have been serving at North Point Church’s UpStreet for the past two years. All of my experiences with children from all walks of life, and my faith is the Lord prepared me for a trip of a lifetime.

Although my experience with children brought me to East Asia the first time, the love I experienced in East Asia brought me back. Seeing the children interacting in the orphanage with the teachers and other students showed meaning of love. I saw the presence of God in each sweet embrace and smile shared among the children. My favorite part of each day, and what I am looking forward to the most when I return is worship! I love singing songs with the children that praise God and the world he created for us.

Although I am the one travelling to East Asia, I would not be on this amazing journey without the help of others.
